Goharshad Mosque in Imam Reza holy shrine has turned into a hub for I’tikaf ceremony of 600 girl and boy high school students in closing days of Ramadan.

Hawzah News Agency – The spiritual ceremony is held in three days of 23rd, 24th, and 25th of the fasting month of Ramadan thanks to the endeavors of the Youth Institute of Karamat Razavi Foundation.
Eighth and eleventh graders who have been received at least two doses of coronavirus vaccines are considered eligible for the ceremony.
The Youth Institute has arranged various programs such as religious lectures, eulogies, and farewell with martyrs’ bodies for the occasion.
I’tikaf is an Islamic practice consisting of a period of staying in a mosque or a religious center for a certain number of days, devoting oneself to worshipping and reciting supplications during these days and staying away from worldly affairs.
